2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
This scripture covers every soul irrespective of the background of that person. Regardless of who you were before or what you did before Christ, you are now a New Creation. A new creation meaning who you once were no longer exists. It means who you were no longer has power over you. It means your past is truly your past and no one can change that. A new creation means you are now born again and not only that but you now carry a complete new identity.
It means you are no longer characterized by your past deeds. It simply means everything is now brand new. Meaning those profane words you used to use no longer appeals to you. It also means those perverse things you used to watch are no longer desirable to you. It means even when temptation come (which will come by all means) you now have the power to say no. A new creation means that your body is now the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. The one who enables you to live a life worthy of the calling you have now received as a new creation. Being a new creation means you have power. It means that all the power needed to live a righteous life and remain a new creation in now in your hands.
You are a new creation so walk and act as though you are!!
