Matthew 1:19
Joseph, her fiance, was a good man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly.

Be careful of the things you expose and of whom you expose it to. Not everything needs to be broadcasted for the world to see and hear.

In a world where many take pride in announcing everything on social media and advertising their stories, you must know when to walk and deal in silence. Not everything needs to be shared with the rest of the world. Whether personal or not, you must learn when to speak and when to be quite. You must learn to differentiate between that which needs to be discussed privately and that which can be shared. Most of us are quick to expose others when we feel they have hurt or betrayed us.

Imagine in the story of Joseph the emotions, pain, and betrayal he must have felt, yet he chose to deal with it quietly. Again you do not need to share everything with the world because the world can you that same thing against you. Be wise and know when to deal silently. Give your burdens, hurt, anger, etc. to the Lord and deal with every circumstance as graciously as you know how and let God handle the rest on your behalf. Be gracious and merciful in all things.
