Living Blameless

June 11

Proverbs 20:7 NIV “The righteous lead blameless lives; blessed are their children after them.”

Will you leave blessings behind as a harvest to be reaped by your generation after you? This depends on the life that you live and on the things that you do and build yourself upon. Ask yourself what kind of life am I living? Am I living a life that will yield blessings and for my generations to come? Am I leading a life that is worthy of imitation by the world that is out there? Most often we care only about ourselves, living our lives as though it is ours alone. Do not forget that your actions now will have a long-term impact.

Do not forget that your lives now will have an effect on the lives of those that are after you. Lead a blameless life, if not for anything for the Kingdoms sake, that souls will be drawn unto the Living God. Be aware that the impact may be now or it may be years from now when you are no more. Whatever the case may be we must live our lives in a righteous way. A way in which we can easily be differentiated from the rest of the world. We have an obligation as sons and daughters of God to be mindful of the lives we are living and to pay close attention to it. It is the righteous that leads a blameless life. Let us do all we can to live a worthy life so that our coming generations will reap the blessings of their fore-generations.
