Colossians 2:2
I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself.
It is a beauty to see a community of believers completely knitted together by love, the unconditional agape love of the Lord. It is the desire of the Lord for us to become one in Him. He desires for us to live and show love to one another and to be there for each other. What the enemy hates is to see believers joined together as one. He knows that when there is unity his camp is in danger, and for this reason he does all he can all the time to cause confusion and separation. Let us do all we can to tie ourselves together with Gods cord of love. When we are tied together and one in heart we are able to accomplish more.
We are all drawn to love and we all respond positively to love. We ought to show love as we want to be shown love. Let us purpose in our hearts to build a surrounding filled with love. When we allow love to have its way in us we can come together and seek the Lord, which will cause the gates of the heavens to open and the mysteries of God is revealed to us. Build a community of love, allow God to reveal Christ to you and through you. Allow Him to teach you and show you His ways. In that you will find confidence in the truth of Christ.
