“Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light”. Isn’t that something? There are so many different counterfeits in the world today and it has spread to the church. It’s so sad to see that many false apostles and preachers spring out from the four walls of the church. One day you see a deacon going wayward and the next time it’s an elder. As time goes on leaders and members alike begin to lose their ground. This is no surprise because the enemy is looking for people to use and he will use anyone who leaves the gates to their hearts unattended. If there is one thing that the enemy can do well, it is perverting all that which is good.
There are many people today that can preach the Word of God inside out, from one station to the next but deep down their hearts are filled with pure vileness. You cannot just accept anyone or hold tight to their word simply because they have an appearance of truth. Every false apostle and teacher will do all they can to appear true, but by virtue of their nature, they will always be exposed. We have to be vigilant and attentive so that we can identify any perverse thing or person around us and in our circle. We cannot allow ourselves to be polluted. Keep your eyes open, that you may be able to identify the false apostles and teachers that are springing up right under your nose. If Satan in all his darkness can pose as an angel of light how much more man.
Secondly, not everyone who is anointed comes from the lord. There are some apostles and preachers who anoint themselves and others who are anointed by the enemy. Simply put not every anointing is genuine and of God some are false, therefore we have to be vigilant and test everything and everyone by the Word of God.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
“These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ. But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment their wicked deeds deserve.”
