When you do not know who you are you inadvertently allow everything around you to dictate your identity. One of the most dangerous things is not knowing your own true identity because this world we live in is full of vultures waiting to lay claims on you as long as you allow it to. As an individual, you are so special and so powerful. You are made in the image of the I AM, The Uncontainable God, and The All-Powerful God. You are made in the image of the Creator of the Heaven and Earth. The One by whose voice every living creature was created. You are not an ordinary person. The word of God clearly states in Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
Take some time and ponder over that scripture and allow the Holy Spirit to minister to your heart. He made you in His image, meaning as He is, so you are. Out of All of the creations of God, You are the only thing made in His exact image; therefore we must imitate our Creator. Do not allow anything or anyone for that matter to give you your identity. Your identity is that of Christ because it is in His image that you are made. Do not believe the lies of the enemy that tells you that you are no one or that you do not have power because those lies are meant to keep you crippled and buried. The only truth there is is Gods word and that is the only word you need. Take pride in who you are. Take pride in the fact that you’re His child and out of everything He has made, you are the only creation made after Him.
