Proverbs 27:12
A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.
It is very important that in everything we do we first weigh what we are getting ourselves into. It is one thing to move towards something in faith and another thing to ignore all warning signs simply because you refused to see those dangers. We must be prudent in all of our ways. We must take caution and ensure that we are looking deep into whatever we find ourselves doing. The simple person sees danger signs and approaches it anyway. Rather than diverting and rethinking their decisions they go head first only to realize that the decision they made is a costly one. The sad part however is that usually when they realize their mistake it’s often too late.
If you fail to take action in small ways when we encounter different circumstances we will be forced to take much bigger steps later on in life which will be far more painful than it would have been if we tackled it earlier on in life. Do not go about life blindly. Open your eyes and take precautions where it is needed. Do not over look anything and do not wait until it is too late. While you still have the power over your situation make sensible choices and be prudent in the way you live your life.
