Death and grave could not hold Him. Yes, He died but He rose on the third day! He took everything to the grave with Him and upon resurrection, He brought us new lives. His resurrection has made us witnesses of a new hope and the only true gospel. Our past died with Him and now with His resurrection, our new life has begun. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith because through Him it is indeed finished. He is the only source of our life and as He has risen today we have been ushered into complete newness in our life. A new strength, grace, mercy, love, joy, peace, compassion, boldness, fearlessness and all the goodness and blessings s of God.
Use His resurrection as a means of change. Our past and everything went down the grave and now we have a chance at a new beginning. Don’t let this day be about jumps and screams. Recognize what our savior has done and allow there to be a permanent change in your life! As you get ready to sleep this night purpose in your heart that this day of celebration would not end here. As God gets ready to grace you with another chance at life be sure to live as one who has died and resurrected with Him. Let there be a significant change in your life. Do not return back to your old ways tomorrow because He has paid the price and His death is one that can never be repaid. Look unto Jesus alone and allow Him to lead and establish your steps!
“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.””
