The times are truly changing. We are in a day and age where the purest of evil is now a norm. It seems like anything goes and that is not acceptable. We are in a time where we must stand strong and firm in our faith. A time in which we must remain immovable. The world is filled with so much negativity and darkness that can easily sway you if you are not grounded firm and deep in Christ. We are in an age where the church seems to be changing their ways to please the world rather than remaining root in Christ in order to draw them to God. What was once an abomination is now praiseworthy.
If we as Christians aren’t careful, rather than winning souls for Christ our souls will be won by the devil. It is impossible to serve two masters, just as it is impossible to dwell in light and darkness simultaneously. We must put our foot down and stand for the Kingdom of God. We cannot allow ourselves to be swayed anyhow. We cannot have one foot in God and one in the world. It is either you are for God or you are not, it is really that simple.
We cannot afford to be lukewarm because better a blatant sinner than a lukewarm Christian. You have been bought at a price, therefore, you cannot do anything and everything because you have a name to uphold. The world should be able to see Christ and His love through you. Take a look at your life and dissect every part of the life you are living and ask yourself I’m I completely and wholeheartedly in Christ or I’m I in the world? If your answer is in the Christ then continue on in the path He has laid for you. But if your answer is in the world then repent and change your ways because time doesn’t belong to you and if you do not change in this moment that you have you might never have another moment to do so.
1 Corinthians 16:13
“Be on guard; stand firm in your faith [in God, respecting His precepts and keeping your doctrine sound]. Act like [mature] men and be courageous; be strong.”
