There’s joy in knowing that you have obeyed the command of God. Typically when you disobey God you find yourself in a place of disarray and worry, but there is always peace in knowing that you have put Him first. When we put ourselves in a place where there is no compromise we are able to fulfill the command of God. Things get difficult when we find ourselves trying to compromise with the world and do everything that it presents unto us. When this happens we begin to sway in every direction, but a person who has made the decision to go forward with God and wholeheartedly follow His steps and His will isn’t easily swayed.
Secondly, Compromise and Fall becomes easy when you are not grounded and firmly rooted in God and in the decision you have made to keep Him first. Another way compromise becomes easy is when we begin to take things lightly and see everything as normal. Compromise will always present itself in many different shapes and structures, but it is our job to identify it and to overcome it. Let us be people of integrity who always put their best foot forward in doing everything possible to hold to God’s word. There is great joy in obeying God just as there is great joy in not compromising. So let us remain true to God and refrain from compromise.
Psalms 119:1-3
“Joyful are people of integrity, who follow the instructions of the Lord. Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts. They do not compromise with evil, and they walk only in his paths.”
