Galatians 6:9
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
God sees everything. Many instances we get weary of doing good because we don’t have anyone recognizing us. When we don’t have anyone pointing out our faithfulness and the work we’re are doing we feel a sense of unappreciation. And because of this, we stop doing good, and some of us continue doing good but without heart. It is important that we do not allow the view of this world dictate our good works.
We cannot lose our harvest because we’re too concerned about what everyone thinks of us. The mind of man shifts to and fro. A person may think highly of you today and talk evil of you tomorrow because you did something to offend them. God’s heart and mind are constant. He loves you because of Himself and nothing is going to change His mind about you. He sees the harvest before you even begin the work.
The most painful thing to experience is to throw in the towel right before you see the finish line. Do not give up right before your breakthrough. The reward is in the persistence and the wait. Hold on tight. You do not need recognition from man because that will only fade away. The recognition of God is what lasts a lifetime. Keep pushing. Do not give in for in due time if you hold on tight you will surely reap a harvest, so continue the good work because if no one sees you, God does.
