Proverbs 4:27
Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.

It is very easy to get sidetracked. To loose focus of all the things that matter most in life. Especially if your eyes are not fixed on God. It is easy to fall in the trap of the enemy when we remove our eyes from the Lord. Where your eyes are fixed is where your focus is set. There are already many things in this world that is reaching and pulling for your attention. There are material things that has taken hold of many of us and as such we have be drawn away from God. Being sidetracked causes you to withdraw from your first love. It causes you to leave the feet of the cross.

You have a task assigned to you on this earth. There is a purpose that the Father has set aside for you to fulfill. There is a path that has been laid before you even before your conception. Ask yourself if one you know the path and if two you are following that path. Ask yourself if you are fulfilling that purpose. You must be vigilant in ensuring that your eyes remain stayed on the Lord. You must be vigilant in not allowing the things of this world draw you away from the Lord. You must follow the path that the Lord has laid out. Do not be taken aback by the doings of the world around you. You must keep your feet from the tent of evil. You must resist the devil and flee from every evil works of the enemy.
