2 Peter 3:8
“But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.”
As the year approaches it’s end many of us become anxious and worried. We begin reminiscing about the things we wanted but don’t yet have or the goals we have not yet attained and so forth. We allow worry to set in and we wonder if anything will work out in our favor. It God can come through for us and come to our aid in these last hours of the year. It is in these times that we ought to remember that yes God is the author of time but He is not confined by it. He does as He pleases.
In these times we must remember that patience is indeed a virtue. Our Lord is not blind to time, rather it is He who controls time. We cannot continue to put a constraints on Him. It is important that we know that no one in this world, underneath the earth or in the heavens has our best interest at heart as much as God does, not even we ourselves. In the phases of life we should keep in mind that we serve the I AM who spoke this universe into being, we should remember that with Him a thousand years is like a day and a day like a thousand years. Be encouraged that God is able to do in one second what has taken you a year. I encourage each and everyone to exercise patience in the Lord, wait on Him for what He has in stored for you.
Know that no matter what it may be that you have been waiting on, if you just keep looking to he Lord and trust Him He will come through because He is NEVER too late not even by a split of a second. He will surely come through at the appointed time. Do not let the time that’s left ahead put you into fear. Trust in the Lord and know that without movement He is able to move any mountain that is in your life this day.
