Proverbs 21:20
The wise have wealth and luxury, but fools spend whatever they get.
How well do you manage your money? How disciplined are you when it comes to organizing your living expenses?
Most of us have no sense of management when it comes to our wealth. We spend what we want when we want without ever really taking time to put things in place or to even think of building for our future. We have no self-discipline when it comes to our finances. We order whatever we see and impulsively buy everything we set our eyes on. As believers, we are called to be wise and in being wise we ought to think thoroughly about everything, finances included.
It is God’s desire for us to have in abundance but sometimes our own carelessness and lack of discipline puts us in a very tough and tight bind. Spend some time today and really evaluate your life. From your spending to your saving and see where you are, where you are going and where you can improve. A wise man has wealth but that wealth does not come with him being undisciplined or irresponsible. Practice self-control saves a portion of whatever you receive, develop a budget plan. Do something but the wise don’t sit ideal hoping for things, they take action.
