March 10
It is difficult to go through the journey of life without having God by your side. In order to be successful, we have to be able to not only be in a relationship with God but we must also be able to hear Him for ourselves. He is the one who knows our future and the one who has everything in our lives orchestrated. It’s very easy to fail if you don’t have God in your ear.
One flaw that most of us have is that we want to hear God speak to us through all the prophets and prophetesses in the world and not through our own selves. Though there isn’t anything wrong with God speaking to us through others, there is something wrong with other people becoming the bridge between us and God, because Jesus Christ is the only one who can fulfill that purpose. He speaks to us all the time and in many different ways. He speaks in a still small voice, just as He does audibly and through His word, people, nature, etc. No matter the season God is always there speaking to us, and is ever ready to direct our path in all that we do. The question is, do you listen Him when He speaks?
We must put ourselves in a place where we allow ourselves to be led by the voice of God, walking only in the direction He lays out. He speaks so if you are not hearing Him you need to adjust your hearing and where you are standing.
Isaiah 30:21
Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you, a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.
