“Make the work harder for the people so that they keep working and pay no attention to lies.”
Ever since I went to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has brought trouble on this people, and you have not rescued your people at all.”
The enemy and his cohorts work tirelessly daily to frustrate our lives. They come up with unnecessary problems to plague us with, and sometimes it overwhelms us. When the enemy sees you going deeper in your walk with the Lord, and changing your lifestyle and your ways, he becomes vigilant. He will throw so many things your way which are intended to throw you off course. The attacks, in some cases, will have you question God. You’ll begin to wonder if He’s on your side, if he sees your suffering or if he even cares about your painful experiences.
The truth is that God cares more than anyone else, and that’s why the enemy seeks to distract and discourage you. Take the Israelites, for instance; the enemy threw the challenge of finding straws at them to distract them from focusing on the Lord. He began plaguing them with unnecessary work to cause them to lose sight of what was vital, and this is what happens in most of our lives. The enemy will attack. That is all He has set out to do, but we cannot give into his attacks. We have to stand firm and rather than questioning God in these times let us dive deeper into Him and access our strength in Him. Do not let the enemy win over you, you are a child of God, and you have all the power you need to overcome.
