October 26 1 John 2:4 If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. There is a responsibility and a sense of expectation that comes with knowing God. If you claim to know God there are certain things that are expected of you. You are expected to speak differently, act different, respond differently, have different standards and so forth. It is simple, you are expected to resemble the one whom you claim to know, and follow.
