Colossians 1:10-11
“so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience,”
We must live a life worthy of glory. A life that will be a sacrifice unto the Lord. Our life should be so pleasing to God that He is able to boast about it. This is only possible by us living a life that is solely based on the Word. If our life is lived in accordance with His Word then we are bound to bear good fruits. Fruits that even we ourselves can reap, and that which resembles Christ and honors Him. Secondly, if we live a life glorifying to God we are able to grow in the knowledge of God, along with patience and endurance. You will realize that when you are following Christ that you are able to endure far more than we ever imagine and exercise patience you never thought you had.
See to it that everything you do brings complete glory to God. Do not select the things that you find convenient to be what you dedicate to God but rather every part of you must glorify and honor Him. Your life ought to be one that can draw souls into the Kingdom. Allow yourself to be drowned in God so that you may look just like Christ, in loving what He loves and hating what he hates.
