Micah 6:8
“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
As a believer you ought to know what is good and what is right before the Lord. You ought to know this because the Lord has given this to you. He shows you through His word what is pleasing, good, and perfect. And as His followers it is our duties to follow that which He shows us.
You have a responsibility of doing the right thing. In order to do the right thing however you must know the right thing and we know by indulging and studying the word of God. It is through the word that we come to know that which pleases God and that which grief Him. Because He has shown you in His word what is good and what is required He expects do do what is right. Whatever you do match it up with the word of God. Are you actions in alignment with what He has spoken or are your actions contrary to Him. It is a true blessing to be called of God. Take His word seriously. Follow Him and do what is right. Do what He teaches you to do, and walk humbly in His ways alone.
