1 Timothy 5:8

But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers.

Charity begins at home. And contrary to what we may think there’s nothing more true than this. Many of us love to help others. We want to be there for others but we cannot even be there for our loved ones and our families in need. It is when we have mastered love from the hidden walls of our home that we can exude it outside. Love is selfless and if we don’t master that at home we cannot successfully show forth to the outside world.

Being an angel means nothing outside when inside with your family you are more than a monster. We have to be careful with the way we treat those who God has given to us. It means absolutely nothing if the world can stand up for you when your family is unsure whether or not they can put their word on the line for you or not. Do not be so focused on the outside. When you take care of what is in house, everything else will be in alignment.

Our  ministries first and foremost starts at home. We gain nothing when we thrive in the public eye while failing and our home. So no matter what your role may be a mother or a father, a brother or a sister, a preacher or a teacher, an encourager or a server, it does not starts in the public eye but rather in the four corners of your home where no one but those closest to you can have a front row seat. It’s in that space that your patience is tested and tried that is where your character is built. So stop the façade of perfection outside of your home. Pursue perfection with those closest to you then it will come naturally when you step outside of your doors.
