Psalm 119:35
Make me walk along the path of your commands, for that is where my happiness is found.
“When you walk with the Lord in the light of His word, what a glory He sheds on our way. While we do His good will, He abides with us still, and with all who will trust and obey….” Oh what joy awaits tho who walk with the Lord and obey His every breath. Those that walk along the path that the Lord has laid for them find happiness. They find joy in the fruit of their obedience. God always knows best. No matter the subject matter, the circumstances, or what lies at stake, He always knows best. Because He know better than we do, and see beyond what we can see, it behooves us to take heed to His words and do what He commands. Truthfully if you follow along the path of the Lord happiness and joy will be your portion because following God can only bring good into your life.
Disobeying God will never bring happiness or peace into your life but on the contrary obeying Him does. Obeying also gives you a sense of fulfillment that you cannot get anywhere else. Additionally it gives you confidence and joy. Obeying will always draw us closer to God and it will always bring glory our way. Furthermore It takes grace to obey every command of the Lord, therefore we need to ask the Lord for the grace needed to follow His path and obey His commands. Ask for the grace and enablement to only thread the path given to you. Do not stray from the Lord. Remain in Him and you will find happiness. Remember that only obedience will result in happiness and do well to follow the paths and commands of the Living God.
