Psalm 23:4
Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
There is a firm assurance that you have as a child of God. As one who has been bought by the blood and one who is beloved of the Lord there are blessings promised to you. When you are in Christ you are firmly secured even when the world comes down upon you. The Lord is able to keep you in all your ways even in utter darkness. As a child of God the mighty and powerful hand of the Lord is always upon you.
As a child of God there are trails and tribulations that will come your way. There will be times where you may find yourself walking in the valley of darkness, however because you belong to the Lord, even in those times, He is with you. In those times His promises are still the same and and His hand remains mighty to save. Because He is God you will always be protected even in darkness. In the Darkness His light shines and He keeps you in a way you can not even imagine. His rod and His staff will protect you from things within and those without. They will protect you all the days of your life. Be assured that with God there will always be a beam of light even in your darkness. The Lord is always close to you. As He says, He will never leave nor forsake you.
