Psalm 143:10

“Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.”

If we desire in our hearts to please the Lord and do His will we can do so. God has given us all the power to do whatever we desire. The choice is in our hands and it’s ultimately our decision that determines where we end up. Why are we often too concerned with our own will which  causes us grief in the end? Rather than seeking God and asking Him of His will for us,?we become bargainers recommending many things to Him, most of which aren’t even beneficial to our lives. What our prayer and our desire ought to be is this, that the Lord God will teach us to do His will. When we allow God  to teaches us to walk within that narrow path that He has laid out for us, to be like Christ in every way we possibly can we will see a change in our lives. A major change for that matter.

That is what we ought to reach for, that we will do what He desires even as He leads us on level grounds. So let us stop advising God and rather start taking His Word and begin doing His will. We have a month left in this year. If you diverted from the will of God for your life in any way you have this chance to choose Him. To choose His will for your life.
