Psalm 51:5-6
“Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place.”
Within yourself and in your own power, mind, and strength you cannot obtain righteousness, neither can you be whole and faithfulness. Yet the Lord desires this of us. He desires for us to be faithful, He desires for us to be blameless in all our ways. He desires this of us because he knows that in Him and through Him we can be all things. He is very aware of our sinful nature but he is also very aware of His power. The power that is able to equip us to live a life worthy of His name. He has given us what we need to be faithful in our ways, to live a blameless life, to walk on the righteous path.
It is only in God that we can lead a life worth the calling He has placed on us. Our way to true success is only through Christ. Our only way to God is through Jesus. And in Him, we have the power to live abundantly and in righteousness. Yes, this sinful nature was present since birth but so has God’s desire for faithfulness. If we dwell and we remain at His feet and sit under His teaching we will be able to be faithful we will be able to live and fulfill that was He desires of us. Irrespective of your sinful nature God‘s power is greater and its able to enable you to live in faithfulness.
