1 John 4:4
But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
One of the saddest things in this life is for your enemy to know the power you hold while you yourself have no clue of the magnitude of the power that you hold. We are all familiar with this particular scripture that tells us that the one in us is greater than he who is in the world. The question however is do we believe that ourselves? Do we truly know that the one in us is truly far greater and mightier than anything else in this world? The enemy is always going to whisper lies to you. He will always find ways to deceive you into thinking that you are weak. His plan is always to have you believe that he has power over you but you know the truth. The unadulterated truth is God and what you have by virtue is Him.
Through Christ Jesus you have already won the victory. You are a winner in every sense of winning. Victory is already your portion no matter what the enemy says. If there anything in your life that you have pressed pause on, or anything you have just simply given up on because something whispered defeat to you, brush it off and keep moving. God is faithful and He will always be. Step out of faith and do what your heart is desiring. The one living inside of you is the I AM. He is able to lead you through and through. He is able to conquer and defeat. Trust in Him. Walk in faith and the knowledge of His power. He is greater and for that reason you are greater.
Fear not for the Lord your God has defeated the enemy He has defeated the prince of this world. As long as He lives in you you can do all things.
