Matthew 6:34
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
As Christians we do a wonderful job when it comes to worrying about tomorrow and everyday that comes after. We worry so much about the things we don’t have any business with. For this reason many of us are not able to live our lives in the manner in which ought to because we spend most if not all of our days stressing and worrying trying to figure out the things that are not in our power. The word tells us not to worry about tomorrow because our God has tomorrow in His hands. God has the ability to alter everything that He pleases. He has the power to go into our future and maneuver things in a way that would benefit us.
Ask yourself how much of your time you spend worrying about the things you have no control over. Now imagine the good things you could you do with that the time you waste on a daily basis. Imagine all the endless possibilities that could be made possible if you spend your time on better things and in the right manner. Leave the worries of tomorrow to God. He has the power of what the future holds. Instead of worrying leave that job to God and remain in His peace while seeking to be an agent of positive change and His kingdom. Let Him remain God while you remain a child of God. If you forgot that He is God, if you have taken parts of your life into your own hands, this is a gentle reminder that He is God and you or not. Therefore remain in your place and allow Him to be a God in your life.
