Far too often we are moved by sight and not by faith. Many times we want to see something happen or experience a particular thing before we move. Most of us are so dormant and stagnant in our lives and in our walks because we want to see A or B before we take a step. We want to become that doctor we have always wanted to become, the YouTube sensation or even that artist before we do what God has called us to do. We want to make enough money, meet enough people, gather enough influence but God isn’t worried about all of that. He wants you now even though you don’t completely know who you are or even know what you want. You do not have to have it all together before you draw near to God and start walking in your calling.
You do not have to become something particular before you move. God wants the now you. He wants the you who is broke, the you who is not eloquent, the you who doesn’t yet have a masters degree or a six-figure paying job. He is not waiting for you to become something before He calls you. Stop putting restrictions on yourself and on the calling God has placed on you and just move. He knew what you were lacking just as much as He knew what you had before He called you. Stop making excuses and take a leap with God. As long as He is with you will be fine.
Exodus 4:10:12
“Then Moses said to the LORD, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” So the LORD said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.”
