1 Corinthians 9:27

“No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.”

‭‭

It is so important that we do not neglect our own walk as we work to pull others into the Kingdom of God. Without discipline it is very easy to forget about your the life that you’re living and the impact that you are making. Often times many believers get so caught up in doing the work of God that they forget to work on their own salvation. They preach the gospel, they give to the needy, they intercede, and many other things. In the midst of all that they do, they sometimes forget that they must work on themselves.

It is very important that you do not forget about yourself in this walk. The most painful thing will be to know that you helped many people make it into heaven while you yourself do not even make it to the gates. Do not involve yourself in anything that will disqualify you from the prize ahead. As you help those around you be sure to help yourself. You cannot help others out of the pit when your are deeply grounded in the pit. Be vigilant and careful. Be mindful of all your decisions that you may be qualified at the end of the race.
