James 5:16
Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
As a body of Christ it is a must that we are there for one another. It is a privilege to be your brother and your sisters keeper. Being a community of individuals who fights for one another and stand for each other in good times and in bad times speak a lot. Unfortunately in some of our lives we don’t see that love anymore.
Many of us have grown to be self-centered and selfish in our own ways. Some of us will not even lift a finger to help the person struggling next to us. Others are so judgmental that someone will choose to suffer loss before ever going to than for help. As a family of believers we must be able to show up for each other. We must learn to confide in one another and confess our sins one to another. We cannot send our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to the world when we are alive and well. Let us stand for one another. The world cannot be there for us as we can for one another. The earnest prayer of the righteous person indeed has great power. Do not hesitate to lift up prayer for others and do not hesitate to show up for someone when ever the opportunity presents itself
