2 Corinthians 9:7

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”

You must decide in your heart how much to give. Although giving is a blessing and a great opportunity that many people do not get the pleasure of participating in, it is something that we must decide to do on our own. Although it is good to give no one can ever force us to give neither can they spend all their time convincing you. In addition the worst thing to do is to give begrudgingly. When you give with a grudging heart, you find yourself overthinking about what you gave which leads you into regretting your act of giving.

No one asks you to give in pressure however, it is good to give and it is even better to give with a heart full of cheer and joy. They are many people around you that are far worse than you have ever been. There are some people who are looking to you to be a blessing unto them. As you wait for others to bless you put yourself in a position where you can bless others as well. It is a privilege and a blessing to give so take advantage of the opportunity whenever it comes. Finally as you give ask God for joy in giving that you may give with a full heart.
