Taking into consideration all the things going on in this world there’s such a high possibility of losing track of life the moment you divert your focus. With that in mind, It is of utmost importance that we keep our feet on the path God has laid out for us. The world will present you with many false paths that appear to lead to high grounds but you have to be vigilant to know what path has been marked out by God and that which has been marked out by the enemy. In knowing that, you must also know that the power to decide what you give your attention to is in your hands. The power to chose the path you will take is in your hands.
We must be very intentional with our steps and careful of the grounds we place them on. Do not allow anything to divert your focus. Whether it be school, work, family, friends etc. Be reminded that you have the power to choose what you will give your attention to and how much of it you are willing to invest in that particular thing. No matter what you do, do not allow the things of this world sidetrack you. Take possession of what is yours and give it over to God. Decide for yourself that with God’s grace and mercy you will not allow temptation to rule over you, neither will you allow distractions suppress you. Take hold of the path God has laid out for you and tread faithfully on it.
Proverbs 4:26-27
“Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path. Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.”
