March 17
The God we serve is not one to separate Himself from His children. He desires for us to build a close-knit relationship with Him, and for that, He is even nearer to us than our skin. 100% of the time we are the ones who abandon God. Sometimes we allow ourselves to get so caught up and involved in the world and in doing so we begin to lose ourselves. There are also times everything begins to crumble and when that happens we begin to question if God is still with us.
The truth of the matter is God is truly the only one who is ever present in our lives. On some occasions, He moves in His silence and other times He moves vividly but in both instances, He never leaves us. God is in the same place He was when you first started this walk, therefore if any shift has taken place it has been on your end because God is not in the business of leaving us stranded. There are times that things may not look so good, but that is so that the glory of God can be manifested. Yes at times He may seem far, others it may seem as though His ears are death to you, but even in those times keep holding onto Him and always remember that the Lord is your helper and He is one that never leaves or disappoint.
When no one is there God is there. When all else seems to fail He remains the same. Be rest assured that He will not go far from you because He desires a closeness with each and every one of us.
Psalm 22:11
“Do not stay so far from me, for trouble is near, and no one else can help me.”
