Ephesians 4:32
Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
It is very easy to think of one’s self as righteous. It is even easier to deem yourself worthy, believing that you are more deserving of something more than others. That is the issue with humanity sometimes. We want grace, and we believe with our hearts that we are deserving of all grace. The problem we sometimes have is that we’re not willing to show the same grace we believe we deserve to others.
We must understand that it is Gods grace that makes us as we are. With all that God does for us, showing us His divine mercies and grace in every aspect of our lives, we also should show that same grace to others. Instead of reacting to people in the way you think they deserve, show kindness and love instead. Show the grace of God to that person who is you have written off. As the Lord is to you, you show that same character to others. Be loving, gracious and merciful. Be nice unto others, and understand that you are not above anyone and no one deserves less than you. Be imitators of the Father. And let His love exude from your heart.
