Some things in life don’t always make sense. There are certain things seems unfair but yet they are all a part of life. Most often it seems as though the wicked enjoy life while the righteous struggles through it. It looks like the people of the world has everything they want and need at their disposal while the believer suffers loss.
Though it may look like everyone around is having the time of their life only they that believe in God and those that have the fear of the Lord in their hearts will stand. If you have nothing at all except for the fear of the Lord in your heart, you are still better off. Do not envy the wicked. Do not wish you had what they (the wicked) have because in all that they do as long as they are outside of God they will not prosper. Yes, they will appear to have it all together, they will seem very fit but inwardly and outwardly they are bankrupt because they lack the fear of the Lord.
Do not look upon the deeds of the wicked and do not try to imitate them. Remain in the Lord and allow the fear of God to direct and order your steps. At times you may feel the urge to do what the wicked man does but do not give in. The time is coming when they will reap what they sow, so focus on the Lord and allow the reverential fear of the Most High dictate your life and your doings.
Ecclesiastes 8:12-13
“But even though a person sins a hundred times and still lives a long time, I know that those who fear God will be better off. The wicked will not prosper, for they do not fear God. Their days will never grow long like the evening shadows.”
