Romans 15:30
“I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.”
How often do you take time out of your busy schedule to lift up a prayer for a brother or a sister? Better still how often do you check in on those that are around you? Often times we are so worried and overly concerned about ourselves and the things going on in our lives that we forget to reach out to those around us. You and I may never truly know what the brother or sister around us is going through and in addition to that, they might never tell us even if we inquire. However, one thing that we do have is prayer. We can always intercede and encourage those who may not even know who or what to turn to.
You might not always have resources to give materialistically but you can offer your prayer in secret and that makes a whole world of a difference. Take some time today and identify someone who may be in a difficult situation, someone who may be struggling in silence and lift up a prayer for them. Encourage them and show them the Love of God, that they may see and know that we are truly Christ ambassadors.
