We must be very careful with what we allow in our lives. Be careful of those things you brush off simply because in your books they are not considered evil. The truth is that good is good and evil is evil. We live according to the standard of God not according to the standard of this world, so we must not allow ourselves to be deceived. God’s word is final, therefore what He says is evil we must stray away from. What He says is darkness is indeed darkness and there is no way around that. We cannot manipulate things in our mind in a way where we conclude they are right even when they outrightly reek of evil.
Our knowledge can never amount to that of God therefore what He says goes. Don’t judge good or evil, darkness or light, sweetness or bitterness by the standards of this world because if you do you will be left wanting. Judge all things by God’s standard. His word is a guide for us, so rather than judging with what the world has offered us, let us judge by what God has given unto us. There is only one right path and that is through Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. Let the Word be your Guide and your Light. It is the only thing capable of leading you in God’s way.
