Psalm 23:4
Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
You are a child of God, and as a child of God there are certain promises and goodness that has been set aside for you. There are certain graces you are awarded just because you belong to God. These graces aren’t by virtue of works or looks or might but rather they are by virtue of God, His love, and His nature.
These graces allow you the privilege of certainty and stability. As scripture says even when you walk in the valley of darkness, the Lord is with you and His rod and staff protects you. This is a sure promise of what you have in Christ. No matter where you get in life, and no matter the different circumstances that you experience, it is important that you know who are you in Christ and what He has said concerning you. He is a faithful God and the words He has spoken concerning you are Ye and Amen. Trust and know that the Lord is always with you. His promises are always there for your sake, they are yours. Hold tight unto Him and trust His words. Allow His word to do great things in your life.
