Genesis 18:19
“For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.”
We each have a calling on our lives and it is our responsibility to make sure we are doing what we need to do to be where we need to be. We ought to seek the Lord concerning our calling so that we can begin to walk in it. Each persons calling is going to be different. One person might be leading youth ministries, another might be to build a Sunday school ministry and yet another might be to raise up children in the Lord or to help families build their faith through their real estate career.
Though every calling is different what we all have in common is God as our head and our guide. Without His grace, favor, guidance, and anointing there is no way we can fulfill what has been placed on us. There are many promises that are waiting to be reaped but we also must first do our part. Even if you do not know what your calling is just yet, you have a demand on your as an adopted child of God to be like Christ and to tread on the righteous path, so begin from there and God will surely direct you.
