Psalm 100:4
“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.”
Enter into the wonderful gates of the Lord with thanksgiving. Think of the works of the Lord. Think of His goodness, kindness, mercies, grace, tender-heartedness, and all that He is. He is and has been a good God to you. Contrary to what you consider good, the Lord has done more than you could have ever imagine or even do for yourself. The very breath in your nostrils this day is proof of the graciousness and mercies of God. Think of all the people in the hospitals who are in need of help to breathe. Those who rely on machines and instruments to do the daily things that you do so easily.
Breathing is something you do not even think about because it is second nature. your body does it without thought. But it is the enablement and strength of God that gives you the strength it takes to breathe. Nothing we do is of our own strength. Without God, we are nothing and will always be nothing outside of Him. Think this day of the things you don’t even consider a blessing and bless the Lord for it. Waking up today and ending up where you are now, whether work, school, etc. is all the doing of God.
Thank Him and remember His goodness. He is deserving of all thanks every second of your life.
