Matthew 18:15
““If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.”
Many times when someone offend us we take it to other people and not to the one who offended us. Rather than going to the person we have an issue with we go to everyone else and in doing so we prolong the time it takes to solve all our conflicts and our heartaches. The word of God encourages us to solve all conflicts with one another. To approach one another and make known our faults and their faults and in so doing resolving all issues that are at hand.
Even though most of us know this word majority of us do not even dare approach one another. I believe that we all have a role to play when it comes to resolving problems and becoming one. We do not help matters when we complain over and over about what someone has done and after these complaints we make no effort to bring solution. I believe that if we put our emotions aside and make it a point to go the extra mile of privately speaking to those who have offended us we would yield more results. Let us not broadcast our offense rather let us go to to those individuals and open up to them and pour out all of our differences. It requires us to be intentional and deal with ourselves and of course the offenders. So if someone has offended you, go to them in love, say your piece allow them to say their piece and let the rest come together beautifully.
