Romans 12:14
Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them.

As a true believer persecution is inevitable. If you choose to follow Christ, then you will experience what He experienced. If you want to take the mantel as a disciple of Christ you too shall undergo some form of persecution no matter how small or great.

As a disciple of the savior, be ready in and out of season to endure for the Lord. Do not take persecution negatively rather accept it with Joy, knowing that the one before you endured greater than you ever will. When you are being persecuted respond with love. Respond with grace and show mercy to those who chose to persecute you. Pray for your persecutors. Plead for mercy on their behalf and lift them up always to the Lord. Do not respond to evil with evil, but rather respond to evil with good. Even in the face of persecution, stand tall and let the glory of God illuminate in you and through you.
