Deuteronomy 31:6

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

‭‭If you are a believer you have heard once or twice that this world is not your home, but rather a mere passage way that you are going through. This is true in every sense because we are only visitors on this land and at some point in time our time here will expire.

Having that knowledge, there is also an assignment for each of us as believers and we must learn to go through this life with the purpose of completing that assignment through Christ. My assignment may be to a small group of students on a high school campus in a remote area, while yours might be to a much larger group on a much larger platform. No matter what that assignment is we must strive to fulfill it. The beauty is that the Lord has already gone and will continue to go before you. Even in the places where others testify that the grounds aren’t fertile, or that that there are many giants and as such you should refrain from entering, the Lord will go with you. Do not be terrified and dismayed from fulfilling the purpose that has been laid before you for your time on this earth. God is above all and He is the one that holds you.

As you go throughout this year remind yourself consistently that the Lord is with you and as such you can do all things and fulfill all that He has said concerning you. Do not be terrified when life seems clouded and the seas begin to billow. Trust the Lord and He will lead you.
