Proverbs 3:7 “Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.”
We often have a tendency of viewing ourselves Holier than we ought. We sometimes see ourselves to be wiser than everyone else. When we find ourselves being wise in our own eyes we lead ourselves into so much headache heartache and unnecessary burden. We ought to allow the fear of God to take precedence in our hearts.
If we seek wisdom, God is merciful enough to give it to us, and the Wisdom He gives us is one that will lead us on the righteous path of life. The wisdom which we come up with ourselves will lead us nowhere but into our downfall. Do not allow pride into your heart. Do not think to yourself, I am wise therefore I can do what I please. Seek God in everything and allow Him to have His way in every aspect of your life. Let His wisdom lead the course of your life.
