Obedience: compliance with order or submission to authority.
We cannot claim to love God and
do everything contrary to Him. We cannot claim to love Him when we cannot follow the simplest of instructions He gives to us. The truth of the matter is if we love God as we say we do we will have no issue following His command. If we love Him as we say we do, obedience to His words will be a delight. It would not be such a struggle because our hearts will desire to please Him. Walking in obedience to His word is love, so let us strive daily to show our love to the Lord through obedience. There is no command that is beyond us because if He asks us to do something He also gives us more than enough grace to carry you through. We have no excuse to be anything but obedient because that is what He asks of us. Obedience is a delight, we have the power and option to make it so or to make ourselves miserable. Heed to the word of God and walk in complete love. Let the weight of His word be a delight in your hearts and allow obedience its way in your life!
2 John 1:6
“And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.”
