Luke 10:30-31
A Jewish man was traveling on a trip from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he was attacked by bandits. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him up, and left him half dead beside the road. By chance a priest came along. But when he saw the man lying there, he crossed to the other side of the road and passed him by.

Being a Christian is more than just a title that can be thrown around. It is a lifestyle that has to be lived. It is a crown that is worn and as such it must be represented well.

As believers you cannot be a Christian by mouth alone, rather everything you do has to reflect that you are a Christian. Everything you do has to be like Christ, and it has to reflect His very nature. If you find yourself running away from helping others or simply being there for others when they need you then you ought to check your heart. Being like Christ is not a partial way of being. It is a way of life where your all is engulfed in Him. As a Christian you do have the responsibility of being the light and helping those who are in need. Be like Christ and show grace and mercy whenever you have the privilege to do so. Be like Christ and render all the help you can. You do not always have to wait until someone asks for help you can help the moment you see a need for it.
