Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.
As humans one of the elements in this life that we hold so dearly to is words. Whether positive or negative, we often take hold of the words others throw at us and keep it in our hearts for a life times. There are many of us who are hurting and dying simply because of the words someone spoke to us. On the other hand there are people who are thriving and living successfully simply because of the words someone spoke unto to them. So then it is safe to say that words are powerful. Whether spoken in a positive or a negative way it has a hold that is not easily broken. With that being said, looking at the power that your words possess, consider the scripture life and death lies in the power of the tongue.
If our words, as simple as it is, can posses such power imagine the power that the Words of God Almighty possess. When heaven and earth disappear along with everything else, the one thing that will remain is the Word of God. The word of God is eternal. It was here before creation and will be here after creation. It’s is the word of God that saves and brings life. The Word of God is the only word that can carry you safely and graciously throughout this life. The Word of God is essential to life. It is needed for one’s livelihood. Take joy and comfort in the Word of God for it is the only word that can carry you on this journey. Take hold of God’s word and live everyday in His word. All the words that have been spoken to you both good and bad will pass away but that which the Lord speaks unto you will forever remain even unto the end of time. Indulge yourself in His word.
