Deuteronomy 20:1
“When you go out to fight your enemies and you face horses and chariots and an army greater than your own, do not be afraid. The Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you”
There’s only one being who is strong and powerful enough to keep you through every phase of your life. Many of us when we get saved are afraid of the life that is to come. This is mainly because most of us are fearful of the the life outcomes. We don’t know what is coming and for the reason we walk on eggshells hoping not to make any mistakes. Secondly most of us are anxious of what tomorrow holds because of the circumstances we are going through at the very moment.
The joy and the confidence we have is from God. The confidence that He is able to keep us and take us through all the phases of life. When the Lord saves you He does so with the the intentions of keeping you through all that which lies ahead of you. Our confidence is in the Lord, His power, His grace, etc. In knowing that He who called you into this new life is able to take you through and through. Do not fear what lies ahead of you because before God calls you He first goes ahead of you. He is ready to keep you. Trust in Him, keep your eyes on Him and believe that He is on your side and He will keep you.
