John 17:18
Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world.
We all have a mission and a task that the Lord has given to us. We all have the call of going into the nations and making disciples unto the Lord. But in addition to that there are other individual tasks that the Lord has been given to each individual. Just as Christ was sent so now we as believers have been sent with an assignment.
We have the task of being representatives of Him. We have a duty of making a difference. The kind of difference that will show the world around us the Jesus indeed is Lord. Knowing this we must be different in every area of our lives and bring forth change wherever we find ourselves. We ought to be the change among our friend groups. We must bring change in our work places, our schools, our churches, our homes and any other place we have the privilege of occupying. No matter who you are, and no matter how small you may feel you have a level of influence in your small circle. Even if you feel as though the people around you have no respect for you, there is someone out there that is watching you and hoping to follow in your footsteps. As such let all you do point back to God and let your life be evident that Christ indeed is King and that’s who you live to glorify.
