Hebrews 12:2“fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
If you look to the Lord your God You will not be shaken. However if you look to the world around you, you will surely be overwhelmed and you will have a difficult time in being balanced. Although you live in this world you are not of this world. You have to be the one keeping yourself sane through the word of God.
If you lose focus even for a moment the things around you may begin collapsing. If you allow words dictate your actions that will also have its repercussions. The only thing that is sure and true, and the only thing that can keep you stable is Christ Himself. You must look to Him and Him alone at all times. Your focus should not shift with the happening of the very world around you. Press on to the end in all your ways. Look to Christ and endure whatever has been set before you. It is very easy to loose your focus when your heart isn’t in the right place. So check your heart and see what your heart is set on. Fix your eyes in Him knowing that you will indeed endure many things on the journey, but He will always be with you.
