Psalm 47:4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires.
When you delight yourself in the Lord you always find yourself standing with your head held high. It is because when you delight in the Lord your life and everything else that follows begin to fall in line with Him. Your delight in Him changes you from your very core. When you delight in Him your will begin to transform into His will for your life. When you delight in Hin there isn’t a tug of war between your desires for yourself and His desires for you.
Delight in Him in all your ways. Commit your heart, mind, body, spirit and soul into His hand. He becomes your delight when everything you do is centered around Him. When you live and breath Him, you realize that life is completely different in every sense. Keep your eyes on Him and your desires in Him. Let your hearts cry be for Him alone. When you delight in Him he will give you desires of your heart, and those desires will be His very heart for you. Do not delight yourself in this world because the world has very little to offer. In addition to that, what the world has to offer will never satisfy you. Give your heart and your all therefore to the Lord and allow Him to fulfill your desires in accordance to His will. Delight in Him and your life will never be the same.
